Why Visit ÑÇɫӰ¿â Before You Apply?

Visiting a college campus is one of the most important steps in the college search process. A campus visit helps you understand not just what a college offers—but whether it’s the right fit for you. A visit to ÑÇɫӰ¿â allows you to experience our supportive learning environment, small class sizes, and close-knit waterfront campus in person. There are many ways to experience our campus—explore them all below!

MITCHELL COLLEGE VISITS

Campus visits are an invaluable way to see what life is like on our unique waterfront campus. You will have the chance to tour our academic and administrative buildings, visit ÑÇɫӰ¿â Beach and the Yarnall athletic center, explore our residence halls, and maybe even take a stroll through ÑÇɫӰ¿â woods. Visits include a one-hour campus walking tour with a current Student Ambassador, followed by an opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor.

THAMES AT MITCHELL COLLEGE VISITS

Thames at ÑÇɫӰ¿â visits include meeting with a Thames representative for an overview of this highly unique college transition program that is located on a college campus. You will have the chance to tour our academic and administrative buildings, visit ÑÇɫӰ¿â Beach and the Yarnall athletic center, explore our residence halls, and maybe even take a stroll through ÑÇɫӰ¿â woods. Tours typically take an hour and a half.

EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS

Thank you for your interest in scheduling a group visit to ÑÇɫӰ¿â! Groups must have at least one chaperone for every 10 students. Tours are scheduled Monday–Friday and are subject to availability of meeting space, Admissions staff, and tour guides.

Tours do not include meals but, depending on the size of the group, we may be able to provide dining space for brought lunches and/or purchased lunches from our dining hall. If purchasing lunch from our dining hall, please notify your tour coordinator at the time of tour confirmation so they can alert the Dining Manager.

  • The campus tour-only option is 1-1.5 hours
  • The Campus Tour + Presentation is 1.5-2 hours
  • Requests must be received at least 3 weeks in advance
  • There may be other group tours at the same time as your group
  • Your group visit is not confirmed until you receive an email from the Admissions Visit Coordinator
